Lois Albrecht has made the long trip from Iowa several times to volunteer.  Among her special contributions are co-authoring “Native Plants for Hummingbird Gardens:  A guide to native plants of the Southwestern U.S.” and compilation of the bloom checklist available on our website.  Even when she’s not in residence at the Research Ranch, she is quick to help with projects that she can do from afar.
